Hey yall! I'm Lydia, I'm 23 years old from Auburn, AL. I can't wait to meet all you guys on the Berlin team! I know you all are amazing people and I'm so excited to be serving with you guys! This will be my first mission trip, and I can't wait to see what God is going to do!I finished raising my budget THE DAY OF the deadline. I raised nearly 1/3 of my budget on that last day. Even though it came down to the wire, I was never really worried... I knew that God would provide if He wanted me there.
The same day I reached my full budget, my passport came in the mail. Woohoo!
So now that I've got the fundage and the passport, this trip has become a reality. I'm actually going to be in Berlin. For 2 weeks. For real. Ahh!!! Excited!
So Lord, bring it. Whatever You have in store for us while we're there, whoever you want us to meet, talk to, pray for, or encourage... have Your way. Do what You do best, God. Amen!
That's awesome that everything came together for you! Follow the Lord and you will get what you need.It is inspiring that for your first mission trip you are going all out, all the way to Berlin! It shows your faith to put so much money and time into something when you don't know exactly how it will be or if you will enjoy it. I'm sure you will enjoy it.
