In Germany, we are working with "Studenten Für Christus", the ONLY protestant ministry for the over 200,000 college students in Berlin. Europe is a dark place spiritually. Stalin once said, "He who controls Berlin, controls the soul of Europe." We want God to take back control of Berlin!! Studenten Für Christus was started in Berlin by Kirk Priest (http://www.kirkandamy.org/) who served as the Director of Chi Alpha at LSU for 5 years before moving to Berlin.
This is our second year in a row going to Berlin and we will be working again with Studenten Für Christus to help pass out free coffee on campuses in Berlin in order to meet students and spark conversation. We also will be hosting many events during the week including American Football, Grilling Out, "Get to Know the Culture of the American South" Night (we'll work on that name...), and a couple others! Our major goal is to connect students (usually very jaded and skeptical of Christianity) to the ministry in Berlin. Last year, this trip proved to be even more successful than anticipated!!
