Richard Burke is a husband to a wonderful wife (Jessica), father to an awesome daughter (Jericha), and the Director of Chi Alpha at Georgia Southern University.
Richard grew up in Augusta, GA and graduated from Greenbrier High School in 2002. He went to college at the University of Georgia, where he gave his life to the Lord after a dramatic encounter with God in October 2002. Richard began serving the Lord thereafter, where quickly he realized he was called to full-time ministry. In Summer 2004, Richard felt the Lord call him to move to Statesboro, GA to attend Georgia Southern University to finish his schooling (Accounting).
Richard and Jessica met days after moving to Statesboro and after a year and a half were engaged. They were married on May 19th, 2007, and seven weeks later were pregnant. Jessica gave birth to Jericha Caydene Burke, a beautiful baby girl, on March 31st, 2008. Richard and Jessica are both passionate about campus ministry and are excited to reach out to the Georgia Southern campus through Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship.
