German Lesson #1

The week after I returned from Berlin last year, I decided that I really wanted to learn some German!  I bought the generic version of Rosetta Stone and a German dictionary!  Long story short, I got busy and haven't learned much at all.  My first German lesson last year was on the plane...let's start earlier than that this year!!

*I'm going to spell things exactly how they sound
Hallo = Hello
Off-vee-ter-sane = Goodbye
Choos (like the ending of goose) = Goodbye
Choos-ee = Goodbye (mine and Brittany's 2nd favorite German phrase)
Bit-ah = Please
Dank-ah = Thank you
Vo ist dee... = Where is the....
Ick murk-tah ine = I want a
fahn-kook-en = jelly doughnut (mine and Brittany's 1st favorite German word and favorite food.  That powdery substance on the top is slightly addictive.  It may not be sugar...)

Ick murk-tah ine fahn-kook-en bit-ah (I want a Jelly doughnut please)

Ick murk-tah dry fahn-kook-en bit-ah (I want 3 Jelly doughnut's please)
